    MK is Magic Kingdom, EP is EPCOT, HS is Disney's Hollywood Studios, AK is Disney's Animal Kingdom. Past days show what happened, with the level predicted for them. A ticket marks a ticketed event, like an after-hours party, when the park's schedule shows one.

    How the levels are made

    Each day's level comes from the posted waits at each park's headliners between 10 am and 5 pm, each against its own normal, so one ride closing doesn't skew the day. The past year's days are split into ten equally common levels: a 1 is as quiet as the quietest tenth of days, a 10 as busy as the busiest tenth.

    Days ahead are predicted from the same weekday a year earlier, smoothed with the weeks either side. Holiday weeks like Thanksgiving, Easter and Presidents' Day are matched with last year's holiday rather than its date, and Christmas to New Year follows the date. The prediction is then scaled by how the last 4 weeks have run against last year. It doesn't yet know Disney's ticket prices, festivals or runDisney weekends, beyond what last year's matching days show. Wait times now.
